This is our story... Believe me, it is not a fairy tale. Scott and I argue, my children have meltdowns, and my house is often a mess. But we sure do love each other
and so far we are living happily ever after.

The Cake Bandit

Sunday we went to a really fun birthday party. Cole's friend Cannon turned three and had a superhero themed party. Everyone came in a superhero costume.

Cole was in heaven. This was his lucky day he said. He came dressed as the red power ranger.

Ella was cat woman.

The children showed off their superhero powers by having races, strongman test, tug-a-war, karate chopping moves and they even had a scary villain who tried to steal the birthday cake. Really this was Scott dressed up. Cole was terrified when he saw the villain running by. He wanted his Daddy but he was nowhere to be found. The children chased Scott around and finally cornered him. Cole would not go near the caped man until Dalton told him it was his dad. He ran and pulled off Scott's mask and poked out his lip. He said,"Daddy why are you the bad guy?" Cole is at the age where he pretty much believes everything you tell him. Very trusting. Finally Cole relaxed a little and began to laugh. Now he says, "Mom remember that time Daddy was the cake bandit?"

Ella enjoyed hanging out at the ice bucket and wondering around.

Batman waiting so patiently for the ladies to let him have a turn.

After the party.... wound up on sugar and soda.

Fun day! Only problem... Cole keeps saying, "I want to go to Cannon's party again." He still doesn't get birthdays are only once a year.

Sounds like it was a fun party! I'm glad the "Bandit" didn't get the cake! Love the pictures!
